Though Lido Key may be one of Sarasota's most popular tourist destinations, year-round residents can take advantage of just about every amenity you can imagine. Participate in ecotourism by kayaking along Hamsen Bayou or hike through the mangrove tunnels at Ted Sperling Nature Park. South Lido County Park has its own beaches, as well as a few miles of trails. Of course, you won't want to miss Lido Key's spectacular beaches—they're like a private escape from the hustle and bustle of Sarasota.
