Another Record Breaking Month in Sarasota Real Estate
Total closed transactions for April 2012 sets yet another record! March 2012 closed transactions were a 7-year high and April's figures show a 6.6% increase over March's figures! 886 closed transactions for April is the highest number since August 2005.
Nearly 600 single family homes and nearly 300 condos closed last month.
To add to the encouraging news and indicates that the strong market will continue is the fact the number of pending sales - homes currently under contract - remain very high at 1,068, this is the 3rd straight month that the number has been over 1,000.
